The collage series “strips and stripes” is made entirely from the leftover fabric of a book cover. It is the edge on the inside of the book where the fabric has just turned over. You can just see a piece of fabric because paper is glued over it for protection. These strips curl, have remnants of paper on them and are beautifully colored. I love them and they play the main role in these collages. In each collage you will find some embroidered details.

• the collage is made on Khadi paper. The paper is handmade in India and is made of 100% cotton. Because of the handwork, the sheets are never quite the same. The edges have a nice scoop edge.
• signed and dated on the back.
